The whole emphasis of this package is to mix some ancient UNESCO World Heritage sites, together with a lazy few days spent on a Catamaran in the East Coast of Sri Lanka. (The Catamaran season is from April to October), where the golden beaches and crystal clear warm azure blue seas and fresh seafood are abound. Spending a few days on a Catamaran with stopovers at dreamy beaches and inviting restaurants that lifts the soul and rejuvenates the mind. Plenty of quality time to read and relax.

To overcome your long flight, you will rest at a comfortable hotel in Negombo.
After breakfast and a late morning departure you will be chauffeured to Sigiriya. En route you will be able to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Dambulla Cave Temples. Thereafter, check in to a hotel in Sigiriya. Relax by a pool in the afternoon.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
After an early breakfast, visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and/or Pidurangala Rock Temple Monastery. On completion return to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. In the early evening enjoy a stroll in the local vicinity.

After breakfast by 9.30am join the village tour, participate in an authentic Sri Lankan cooking class and enjoy the lunch that you helped cook. By 2.30pm participate in a jeep safari into one of the nature reserves close to Habarana which last for 3.5 to 4.00hrs, then back to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
After breakfast, depart for Pasikudah. In transit spend some time to discover another UNESCO World Heritage Site of Polonnaruwa and then proceed to the East Coast.
Overnight stay in Pasikudah.
After breakfast enjoy some free time until you depart to board the Catamaran in Pasikudah at 4 pm. Follow the coast for 1h30 to Kalkudah bay. Explore underwater coral reefs and enjoy the white sandy beaches. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Morning snorkeling, followed by breakfast. 3h sailing in search of dolphins. Arrive at Elephant Rock by midday for lunch on board, followed by snorkeling and stand up paddle boarding. Sail to
Sallitivu Island (1h30). Arrival at sundown for dinner and spend a night at anchorage.
Morning swim followed by breakfast at 8.30am. Depart for Ilantattunu point at 9 am. Arrival before lunch for snorkeling and stand up paddle sessions. Lunch on board and depart for Dutch Bay/Trincomalee at 2.30 pm (3 to 4h), relax on board, read a book, catch some sun or do some fishing. Arrival at sundown into Dutch Bay, diner and spend a night at anchorage.
Departure at 6.30am to observe the whales. Breakfast is served while sailing. Three hours of whale watching and lunch at Back Bay, Trincomalee. In the afternoon visit the Thiru Koneswaram Temple and lovers leap and take a tour of Trincomalee town in a Tuk-Tuk, accompanied by a guide. Dinner with a local family or dinner on board, your choice!!
Spend the night on board.
Departure after breakfast for Nilaveli Beach (1h30). Lunch off the coast at Pigeon Island, followed by some snorkeling from the reef. Sail towards Koduwaka in the afternoon. Arrival at sundown for dinner on board.
Overnight stay on board.
Early breakfast and exploration of the area in a dinghy. Aquatic activities such as stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming and some fishing or just laze on deck with a cold drink. Lunch in Koduwaka. In the afternoon, sail to Nilaveli (2h30). Drinks on the beach followed by a special seafood dinner at a popular beach restaurant.
Overnight stay on board.
Early breakfast, then a 1h30minute sail to Back Bay in Trincomalee. Drop off at 10am.
On completing the sailing journey you will depart to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Anuradhapura. Visit Mihintale before reaching Anuradhapura.
Spend the night at Anuradhapura.
After breakfast depart Anuradhapura in time to reach Colombo International airport 3 hours before your departure flight. Drop you off at the airport and end of the tour.

Religious Sites – Wear conservative attire and cover shoulders and legs. Remove shoes & slippers. Socks can be worn.
Stairs – Un-even rock carved paths, steps and walkways in some climbs may be challenging and slippery. Be particularly careful in wet conditions.
Walks in the wild – Bring your own mosquito and leech repellent. Always follow the tracker or the guides’ instructions. It is advised to wear sun screen, a hat and suitable trekking gear and shoes.
Safety in Water Activities – Always follow the service providers’ instructions and any red flag notification on the beach. Activities will be adjusted, subject to weather conditions.
