Day 1Colombo Airport – Ayurveda Retreat close to the airport

Our representative will be eagerly awaiting you on your arrival into Colombo International airport.

Day 2Ayurveda Resort

After breakfast you will be admitted into the Ayurveda centre and meet your doctor to design your plan of treatment for the next 7 days.

Day 3 to Day 9Ayurveda Resort

Your treatment begins from today and ends on day 9. Which consist of following initial program: – – Consultation (Minimum of 4 times per week).

  • Head Massage (‘Shiro Abhyanga’)
  • Foot Massage (‘Pada Abhyanga’)
  • Face Massage (‘Vaktra Abhyanga’)
  • Full Body Massage (‘Shareera Abhyanga’)
  • Shirodhara
  • Shirolepa
  • Herbal Steam Baths
  • Herbal Bath
  • Pindu Sweda
  • Anthra Shodhana – Special treatment to flush out body toxins, colon toxins and liver toxins etc.

As a complimentary service, you will be shown ayurveda cooking and attend to yoga classes.

Day 10Ayurveda Resort to Kandy

After breakfast depart the ayurveda centre for Kandy. Visit the venerated Buddhist temple Sri Dalada Maligawa (UNESCO World Heritage site) or known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 11Kandy to Hatton

After breakfast depart to Hatton. En-route visit one of Asia’s finest landscaped gardens, the Peradeniya Royal Botanical gardens for a relaxed walk. The gardens are truly wonderful and should not be missed.

Check into a colonial era tea planter’s bungalow, surrounded by pristinely manicured tea garden, overlooking the beautiful Castlereagh reservoir.

Day 12Hatton

Post breakfast, visit a tea plantation and its factory to discover how the finest Ceylon tea is produced. Or indulge in a picnic beside the reservoir and a boat ride. For the more energetic a leisurely trek in the tea plantations or surrounding hills. If you are relaxed and inclined to chill at the bungalow with a good novel, the option is yours.

Day 13Hatton - Kitulgala - Negombo

Leave Hatton for Negombo, for a short break transit at Kitulgala where you can encounter white water rafting and many other energetic river water sports, discover a pre historic cave, trek through a wilderness or enjoy a river swim and on completion drive to Negombo.

Day 14Negombo

Day to relax by the beach, pool or both? and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a boat tour on the Hamilton canal to the lagoon or to the Maha Oya river, observe many different kinds of birds, raptors, monitor lizards, owls. Alternatively, spend some time learning how to cook an authentic Sri Lankan curry, to impress your friends back home!

Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 15Negombo – Colombo Airport

Depart in time to catch your flight back home. Reach the airport 3.5 hrs before your departure time. Drop you off at the airport and end of the tour.

What to Expect

Any religious temples – Wear conservative attire and cover shoulders and legs. Remove shoes & slippers. Socks can be worn.

Buying entry tickets – (Sigiriya/Mihintale/Anuradhapura/Dambulla) – Buy tickets from official kiosk/counter before commencing your visit.
Hill Country – (Hatton) – Temperatures can get chilly, bring some warm clothing along.

Safety in any water activities or sea – (Kitulgala, Negombo, Waikal). Always follow the service providers instructions and any red flag notification on the beach.

Negombo – Vibrant beach towns with lot of restaurants & cafes.

Site guides – All Venues: Test their language skills and knowledge. Fix the price before you proceed. Cost should be circa USD 10.00 or 15.00.

Potable Water – Always carry a bottle of water.

Heat – Keep with you a cap or a hat/scarf.

  2. Transportation using air-conditioned vehicles with driver.

  1. Air ticket expenses from your country to Sri Lanka and return journey
  2. Visa, travel and medical insurance
  3. Early check in and late check outs
  4. Other meals & beverages, unless otherwise specified
  5. Extra items consumed in your hotel, bar, mini bar and all facilities utilized in the hotels. These are to be settled prior to check out at hotel
  6. Tips and any other expenses of a personal nature or services
  7. Photography and video filming charges at sites
  8. All mentioned activities, any entrance fees. We are happy to provide these costs with our quotation.
