To overcome your long flight, you will rest at a comfortable hotel in Negombo. Subject to your check in time, enjoy an Ayurveda massage to help sooth away any jetlag.
After breakfast depart Negombo to Sigiriya (drive time approximately 4 hours).

After breakfast visit the incredible Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage site), spend time to marvel this historic citadel and from its summit the beautiful surrounding scenery of its gardens and jungle. Alternatively, discover the less visited, but interesting Pidurangala Rock, views from atop are superb.
In the afternoon, a short drive away is the amazing Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site), a must visit! Admire the 5 caves adorned with 157 statues and delicate mural paintings.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Post breakfast drive to Kandy, visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa/Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Day to relax on the beach or by the pool. An early evening walk on the beach, contemplate the beautiful coloured spectrum of a tropical sunset.

Temple of the Tooth (Kandy), Dambulla and other Temples – Wear conservative attire and cover shoulders and legs. Remove shoes & slippers. Socks can be worn.
Dambulla/Sigiriya –Beware of uneven stairs. Some climbs can be perceived as challenging.
