Your honeymoon will take you to the heart of Sri Lanka to celebrate your happiness together. You will visit the awe inspiring Dambulla cave temple, the Sigiriya rock fortress with its delicate frescoes and then onto the remarkable temple of the sacred tooth in Kandy. Finish off with a romantic beach side champagne dinner.

To overcome your long flight, you will rest at a comfortable hotel in Negombo. Subject to your check in time, enjoy an Ayurveda massage to help sooth away any jetlag.
After breakfast depart Negombo to Sigiriya (drive time approximately 4 hours).
The possibility of a Jeep safari in one of the nearby National parks, (depart 2.30p.m.).

After breakfast visit the incredible Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage site), spend time to marvel this historic citadel and from its summit the beautiful surrounding scenery of its gardens and jungle. Alternatively, discover the less visited, but interesting Pidurangala Rock, views from atop are superb.
In the afternoon, a short drive away is the amazing Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage site), a must visit! Admire the 5 caves adorned with 157 statues and delicate mural paintings.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Post breakfast drive to Kandy, visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa/Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Dinner and overnight stay in Negombo.
Day to relax on the beach or by the pool. An early evening walk on the beach, contemplate the beautiful coloured spectrum of a tropical sunset.

Overnight stay in Negombo.
Leave Negombo to reach the airport 3.00 hrs before your departure time. Drop you off at the airport and end of the tour.

Temple of the Tooth (Kandy), Dambulla and other Temples – Wear conservative attire and cover shoulders and legs. Remove shoes & slippers. Socks can be worn.
Dambulla/Sigiriya –Beware of uneven stairs. Some climbs can be perceived as challenging.
Safety in any water activities or sea – (Negombo). Always follow the service providers instructions and any red flag notification on the beach.
Negombo – Vibrant beach towns with lot of restaurants & cafes.
Site guides – All Venues : Test their language skills and knowledge. Fix the price before you proceed. Cost should be circa USD 10.00 or 15.00.
Buying entry tickets – (Sigiriya/ Dambulla/ Temple of the Tooth) – Buy tickets from official kiosk/counter before commencing your visit.
Potable Water – Always carry a bottle of water.
Heat – Keep with you a cap or a hat/scarf.
