You will discover a hidden Buddhist monastery and in Kandy the temple of the tooth, the meticulously landscaped Royal botanical gardens, an Elephant sanctuary. Onto Nuwara Eliya the capital of tea plantations, where you will reside in a colonial hotel, enjoy trekking and gorgeous scenic views. Hatton’s beautiful scenery, Castlereagh reservoir and your bungalow awaits you. Proceed down south to experience a stay in a rubber plantation and relax on nearby beaches.

After breakfast, a day to Enjoy the atmosphere and the workings of a coconut plantation and possible trip to witness the daily life of local villagers.

Visit the charming Ridi Viharaya Temple and Monastery on the way to Kandy.
Upon reaching Kandy visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa/Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic(UNESCO World Heritage Site). An amazing religious venue to visit, the 6pm Puja is a must experience!

After breakfast, leave for Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, enjoy an elephant ride, watch or participate in elephant bathing, wonder around the orphanage.
In the afternoon visit the ever popular and stunning Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in Asia, admire the many exquisite specimens of orchids in the “house of orchids”.
Return to your hotel for rest, relaxation.

Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya (4 hours drive). The road goes through spectacular scenic views of verdant tea plantations that you can visit and enjoy a fresh pot of Sri Lankan tea, see waterfalls.

After breakfast visit the city, walk around Gregory Lake or you might like to ride a horse around the race course. Alternatively, a round of gold at the picturesque Nuwara Eliya Golf course or enjoy a delightful afternoon high tea in a beautiful colonial hotel.

After breakfast a 2 hours drive will take you to Norwood in the Hatton area, where you will be staying in a quaint colonial style bungalow located in a tea plantation. Discover a different world!
Day to relax and enjoy the panorama, the beauty of the place.
In the afternoon you can visit a local village, take a boat ride on the Castlereagh reservoir.

After breakfast, explore beautiful tea gardens, visit a tea factory located in the cool misty hills of the hill country or enjoy a pick-nick by Castlereagh reservoir.

After breakfast, leave the tea plantation bungalow and drive to Kalutara (4 hours drive) via Kitulgala, where if you so wish, you have the opportunity to visit a prehistoric cave and participate in various water sports, such white water rafting, tubing, abseiling.

After breakfast, it’s your day to experience a rubber plantation where you will observe the daily life of the plantation and the possible production of latex
Overnight in Kalutara.
After breakfast, a short drive to Bentota. where you can take on a boat ride into Mangroves, do some water activities such as banana boat, jet ski, sofa ride etc or just laze on the beach.
Return to the plantation bungalow in Kalutara for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, a leisurely drive to Negombo.
If you so wish, in the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the Maha Oya (river) or treat yourself with an Ayurveda massage administered by a Doctor in Ayurveda who prepares the ointments and oils used for the massages.
Late afternoon, watch a glorious the sunset on the Indian Ocean from the beach.
A goodbye dinner will be arranged for you. Drinks not included.
Leave Colombo to reach the airport 3.5 hrs before your departure time. Drop you off at the airport and end of the tour.

Temple of the Tooth (Kandy), Kurunegala – Wear conservative attire and cover shoulders and legs. Remove shoes & slippers. Socks can be worn.
