Your trip is based around secluded luxurious hidden away places to stay. If you wish to step out, we will take you to a number of UNESCO World Heritage sites and the fabulous Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Then to Colombo where you will end your visit staying in a exquisite colonial abode.

Negombo - Sigiriya - Kandy - Colombo

Day 1Airport - Negombo

Our representative will be eagerly awaiting you on your arrival into Colombo International airport.

Meet at arrivals hall.

To overcome your long flight, you will rest at a comfortable hotel in Negombo. Subject to your check in time, enjoy an Ayurveda massage to help sooth away any jetlag.

Overnight in Negombo.

Day 2Negombo – Sigiriya

After breakfast, drive to Sigiriya. On the way you have a choice to stop at the inspiring Ridi Viharaya Monastery.

Arrival into Sigiriya in the afternoon into your hideaway retreat. Enjoy a massage or rest by the pool.

Day 3Sigiriya

After breakfast, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Sigiriya displays the cumulative effect of ancient town planning, architecture, art, construction, landscape architecture and science of water management in the 5th c. A.D in Sri Lanka.

As an alternative option, there is close by a shorter climb to the less visited Pidurangala Rock Temple, that offers the visitor to discover an ancient Buddhist cave Temple. The splendid views from its summit of the majestic “Rock Fortress” is a must see! Sunsets are sublime!

After the visit, you might wish to try a typical Sri Lankan lunch in a nearby village.

Afternoon siesta or relax by the pool.

Day 4Sigiriya

After breakfast, a short drive will take you to the amazing Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Where you can see more than 150 statues of Buddha, Hindu Gods and Sri Lanka Kings together with delicate mural paintings. it’s worth the climb to the top.

You might wish to visit Polonnaruwa (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a grandiose archeological site that comprises monumental ruins of the incredible garden-city created in the 12th century by King Parakramabahu I. Hiring a bicycle to visit the entire site is possible.

Have a relaxing afternoon, enjoy a massage or lay by the pool.

Day 5Sigiriya – Kandy

After breakfast, depart to Kandy, if you so wish stop at Nalanda Gedige, a stone built Hindu Temple (8th to 10th century).

On reaching Kandy in the afternoon, indulge in a quick visit to a tea factory to learn how tea is processed from the moment it is picked up to when its brewed in your cup.

Visit the Dalada Magilawa (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The Puja (offerings and prayers) at 6.00pm is an inspiring spiritual moment to be shared with worshipers, drummers, trumpeters

Overnight in Kandy.

Day 6Kandy

Spend the day relaxing in the surrounding mountains, bathing in a river, have an Ayurveda massage, participate in a yoga class. Or you can just enjoy the peace, tranquility and the beauty of the views from your hideaway retreat!

Day 7Kandy

Today you may feel like trekking through tea plantations, see waterfalls? A day spent in beautiful, verdant green lush vegetation? Or visit the acclaimed Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens?

Day 8Kandy - Colombo

After breakfast drive to Colombo via Kitulgala which offers you exhilarating activities such as water rafting, canoeing, zip lining, abseiling, caving. A tea break by the river might be a welcomed substitute?

Reach Colombo in the afternoon, relax by the pool, or enjoy a high tea with cakes.

Day 9Colombo

After breakfast, you might chose a city tour of Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. Pettah Market, the Colonial buildings, Independent square or the Museum and the parks are all part of the charm of the City. This may also be the time to go shopping and buy clothes at advantageous prices.

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon on the beach or by the pool. Watch the sunset reflecting on the waves of the Indian Ocean, a most charming part of the day.

A goodbye dinner will be arranged for you. Drinks not included.

Day 10Colombo - Airport

Leave Colombo to reach the airport 3.5 hrs before your departure time. Drop you off at the airport and end of the tour.

What to Expect

Safety in any water activities or sea – (Negombo). Always follow the service providers instructions and any red flag notification on the beach.

Negombo, Unawatuna – Vibrant beach towns with lot of restaurants & cafes.

Site guides – All Venues : Test their language skills and knowledge. Fix the price before you proceed. Cost should be circa USD 10.00 or 15.00.

Potable Water – Always carry a bottle of water.

Heat – Keep with you a cap or a hat/scarf.

Our pricing INCLUDES the followings:

  2. Transportation using air-conditioned vehicles with driver.

  4. Replacement of vehicle in case of breakdown or emergency.
  5. Accommodation as specified in our quotation.

  7. 1ltr complementary bottle of water per person per day.

  1. Air ticket expenses from your country to Sri Lanka and return journey
  2. Visa, travel and medical insurance

  4. Other meals & beverages, unless otherwise specified
  5. Extra items consumed in your hotel, bar, mini bar and all facilities utilized in the hotels. These are to be settled prior to check out at hotel
  6. Tips and expenses of personal nature
  7. Photography and video filming charges at sites
